Waker is a class in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis, and can be considered a reimagined version of the Summoner class from Phantasy Star Online 2.

Class Weapon Overview

Wakers has access to one unique weapon: Harmonizer (NGS) Harmonizers.

Class Overview

Contrast to Phantasy Star Online 2's Summoner class, Waker does not utilize Pets, but rather creatures called Familiars. Familiars do not need to be raised unlike Pets. Pets from Phantasy Star Online 2 cannot be used as Familiars.

There are three types of Familiar, each with their own combat styles which excel in close-range distances or long-range distances, depending on the Familiar used. The power of Familiars will scale to the player's equipment and level.

The Waker Class is set to release on August 2022. Playtests of the Waker Class will be available on July 17th, 2022 during ARKS EXPO 2022. Further information provided during those playtests will be presented on this page in the future.

Due to the nature of early playtests and premiered information, the following information provided may not accurately present content that will be officially released.

Takt Gear Familiar Gauges can be used.
Familiar Unison [Active Skill] Consume two Gear Gauges to perform a powerful attack.
Marumero Strike Increases Gear Gauge after a successful guard with Marumero. Unleash an attack by pressing and holding the Weapon Action.
Marumero Strike Tracing Marumero Strike will now track enemies.
Treble Clef Marking Attacking enemies will put them in a Marked state. Marked enemies will receive increased damage from Takt Photon Arts.
Treble Clef Ignition Detonate a Marker on a Marked enemy by holding down the normal attack button.
Familiar Assist When Treble Clef Ignition is activated, summon a Familiar to your side which performs continuous attacks that increase the Gear Gauge.
Familiar Assist Amplify Increases the accumulated amount of Gear Gauge if Familiar Assist is activated.
Hot Marumero Parry [Active Skill] Automatically guard attacks from enemies when activated, without interrupting your attacks.
Hot Marumero Parry Short Recast Reduces the recast time of Hot Marumero Parry if Hot Marumero Parry is unable to block an attack.
Takt Parry Counter When guarding successfully with the Weapon Action, performing a Normal Attack immediately afterwards will unleash a counterattack.
Takt Parry PP Gain Recover PP when guarding successfully with the Weapon Action.
Linear Drive Performing a Normal Attack at the right time after using a Photon Art will change your Normal Attack to a repositional attack where you can move backwards or forwards.
Linear Drive One More After performing a successful Linear Drive, an additional Linear Drive can be used one more time.
Call Again PP Save When your Familiar Gauge is 0, reduces the PP consumption of your Familiar's Photon Arts for a short period of time.
Old Friends Rescue There is a chance to recover HP when receiving damage that would be equal to your maximum HP.* Can be used as a Sub Class.

Welfare Management When your HP is below a certain percentage of your maximum HP, reduces the damage you receive and increases the amount recovered from Restasigne.
* Can be used as a Sub Class Sub Class.
Resta Effect Continuous The recovery amount of Restasigne is reduced, but will continue to recover HP over a certain period of time.
* Can be used as a Sub Class Sub Class.
Lucky Sign There is a chance that Restasigne and Reversasigne will not be consumed upon use.
* Can be used as a Sub Class Sub Class.
