+ | Photon Arts in New Genesis are the "skills" and "special moves" seen in other games. They are often abbreviated as '''PA'''. Unlike in PSO2, NGS PAs no longer need Discs and cannot level up, and instead are all instantly unlocked upon character creation. New PAs released in updates are also instantly unlocked. Above is a table to each weapon's Photon Arts, with details on their functions and other quirks like auto-Guard or invincibility.
− | + | The "magic" in NGS are instead called Techniques. See [[Portal:New_Genesis/Techniques_List|here]] for a list of them.
+ | Both Photon Arts and Techniques can be enhanced through the Tech Arts Customization system. Click [[Portal:New_Genesis/Tech_Arts_Customization|here]] for more details.

Overview
Photon Arts in New Genesis are the "skills" and "special moves" seen in other games. They are often abbreviated as PA.
The "magic" in NGS are instead called Techniques. See here for a list of them.
Both Photon Arts and Techniques can be enhanced through the Tech Arts Customization system. Click here for more details.
