Marron
Maron is a Pet usable by the Summoner class. It is a bipedal pet with movements similar to Sally's, and uses a Technique attack style PA, but performs its Normal Attacks within close range with some of its other PAs similar in nature to Wanda's. Marron's most notable feature is Marron Strike, a one-hit deadly self-destructive PA that expands and changes in appearance when Marron takes damage, dramatically increasing damage.

- Starting PA.
- Differences from Melon
- Required number of hits to reach maximum power is 4.5x more (9 hits)
- Power is about 10x greater
- PP consumption is 5 less
- Power adjustment besides maximum is greater
- Explodes after a certain period of time from maximum power
- Can stun the target upon hitting.
- The larger Marron gets, the more damage the PA will do.
- Marron increases in size when hit. The amount of damage done to Marron is irrelevant, and will reach to maximum power after being hit 9 times.
- There are 3 stages of expansion. Stage 1: Hit 1 - 2 times. Slight body swelling. Stage 2: Hit 3 - 8 times. Larger body swelling and glows red. Stage 3: Hit 9+ times. Body swells and emits smoke while shining red.
- Along with this, the potency of Marron Strike also changes in its 3 stages.
0 - 2 hits: 10% of notation 3 - 8 hits: 35% of notation 9+ hits: 100% of notation - The attack range of the PA also expands, from hitting 1 target to hitting multiple targets at maximum power.
- When reaching maximum power, Marron explodes after 15 seconds and will stun itself. Details about the explosion is described later.
- Along with this, the potency of Marron Strike also changes in its 3 stages.
- Can walk and jump slowly while holding down the PA.
- PP recovery stops during the hold.
- Can be canceled by Blind Sidestepping.
- The PA is canceled if the player is hit during the hold and gets knocked down/back.
- Marron will explode and stun itself regardless of stage.
- The thrown Marron will explode even if it comes into contact with an enemy or collides with an object.
- Regardless of HP on Marron, the "Underdog" personality bonus is applied to the damage on hit.
- Marron's expansion is reset by switching to another pet, moving to another area, or effects such as stun.
- In order for Zanverse's followup damage to apply for the PA, Marron needs to be within the range of the field.
Regarding the timed explosion after maximum power
- Marron will spontaneously explode 15 seconds after reaching maximum power.
- This explosion will only deal damage to Marron itself and the player.
- There is no way to tell how much time is left before Marron spontaneously explodes.
- The explosion will deal at least the maximum HP worth of damage to Marron and stuns it. There is no propagated damage to the player from self destruction even while using Alter Ego.
- Does not prematurely explode even while being hit during maximum power. It will explode only when thrown or a certain amount of time passes.
- If the player is nearby at the time of the explosion, they will be caught in the explosion, knocked down and be damaged.
If the player receives more damage than their remaining HP, they will be put to 1 HP instead. - Increases Photon Blast gauge if the player takes the damage.

Marron Shield

- Starting PA.
- Differences from Melon
- No difference
- Marron floats in front of the player, acting as a shield. Can move around while holding the PA.
- Although the PA says that it consumes 5 PP, it actually consumes 6 PP when activated (Probably due to the "0th second" of the hold consumption being taken into account). In addition, 1 PP is consumed every 2 seconds during the hold.
- The damage taken will directly goto Marron, and if Marron receives more than max HP's worth of damage, you will not be able to fight with that Pet.
- In addition, propagation damage will occur during the effects of Alter Ego.
- While the PA is in use, damage taken by Marron is reduced by 50%.
- While shielded, the player will always have a parry window in front of them, and any guardable attack can be prevented with no damage.
- Does not protect from behind.
- Does not protect from unguardable attacks.
- Can also activate Hunter's Healing Guard skill.
- Only during the moment the shield is activated, the parry window occurs on Marron itself.

- Has slightly slower speed.
- Can shoot up to about 4 shots in a row.
