EPISODE 2 is the second of Phantasy Star Online 2's six Episodes and the second installment of the Oracle Arc.

Chapter 1: The Survivors

The planet Wopal is a beach-like planet covered in ocean as far as the eye can see; combined with its beaches and tropical climate, it's almost like a vacation paradise. Here, the player reunites with Echo, who has taken up Zeno's mantle in the wake of his disappearance, and Theodor, whose grasp on sanity is hanging by a thread in the aftermath of the attack on Themis. An encounter with Luther, the first Photoner and the founder of ARKS, may lead to Theodor getting more than he bargained for.

Chapter 2: To Change History

The player is invited to the Dragon Altars of Amduskia by Sarah to meet Xiao, an imperfect copy of Xion who refers to himself as "Xion's little brother". With Luther's interference causing things to spiral out of control, Xiao recruits the player to travel into the past and save Zeno and Ulku from their untimely demises to swing the odds back in their favor.

Chapter 3: Beyond the Sealed Truth

The player and Sarah travel to the seabed of Wopal, where Luther is apparently conducting inhumane experiments in secret away from the grasp of Oracle. While the duo attempt to recover data that Luther left behind, they discover the lengths that Luther is willing to go to control everyone and everything within his reach.

Chapter 4: A Day of Resurrection

With both her fate and the continued existence of Oracle on the line, Xion urges the player and Matoi to invade the Mothership to stop Luther's plans for omniscience from coming to fruition. Xiao sends the player 10 years into the past to discover the truth behind Matoi's past. Chapter 6: One's Own Future

The player joins Afin and Melfonseana in a bid to protect one of Lillipa's Mining Bases that is sealing the body of Dark Falz [Apprentice] beneath the planet's surface. When Dark Falz [Apprentice] arrives, the truth behind her existence is revealed, and the heroes are joined by an unlikely ally. Plus, with the secret of Klariskrays III's past unveiled, she and Sarah team up to raid one of Luther's labs on Wopal's Floating Facility, but will the two be able to overcome their differences?
