G'day, mate! Fancy a little review on the most basic of the basics with me? You remember how to switch weapons, yeah? I figure the fundamentals are worth going over two or three times. That certification mission feels like it was ages ago, you know? That's why I wanted to do a little refresher. Feel free to join me.

Upon accepting the Client Order: Expand Well, I'm sure it's just me that needs to review, not you, mate. Maybe you could help me out, eh? I may've been accepted into ARKS, but I'm still very much a newbie, you know. Not that I wanna fight or anythin', but it'll be good to remember what skills I can use and make it so I can actually use 'em. So, in a nutshell: let's review! The most basic of basics is switching weapons. That's for sure a necessary skill. They taught us that during the certification mission, yeah? Let's just try it out.
Upon handing in the Client Order: ExpandAaand... there. Aha! I've done it too! Whew... That's pretty handy, 'ey, mate? Givin' your weapons a change depending on what and where you're fighting is boatloads more efficient, huh? Anyways, that ends the review. Thanks for helping me out, mate.

The Weapon Palette: Expand The Weapon Palette is a setup that allows you to register a weapon and the skills used with that weapon as a set.
At first, you can register three sets, and the maximum you can register is six. You use them to fight during combat, and can swap them out to suit the situation.
-Move a Weapon Palette up one: R / Up on D-Pad -Move a Weapon Palette down one: Z / Down on D-Pad -Confirm (swap): Enter / X(PS), A(Xbox)
You can register the weapons and skills to the Weapon Palette by going to the Main Menu > Equipment > Equip Weapons.
You can register up to six of the following skills: -Normal Attack, Photon Arts, Techniques -Weapon Action
Three go in the Front Palette, and three go in the Back Palette. During combat, you can use Shift / L2(PS), LB(Xbox) to swap them out.
The Sub-Palette: ExpandThe Sub-Palette is a system in which up to 10 types of items and skills are registered and can be used in combat with the following controls:
-Use G and H / Left on D-Pad and Right on D-Pad to move the cursor to the left and right, and B / L3(PS), LSB(Xbox) to execute. -When using the keyboard, use keys 1 through 0 to execute them directly.
You can register items and skill by going to the Main Menu > Equipment > Sub-Palette.

Upon accepting the Client Order: Expand I figured I could use Photon Arts just by learning them, but I couldn't have been more wrong... I didn't know till a little while back that you need to set 'em to your Weapon Palette so you can use 'em. Oh man, I can't tell you how bloody embarrassed I was. It's all well and good though... You can't learn without making mistakes, yeah? You good, mate? You weren't thinking that just learning them was enough, like me, yeah? Talking about it has me all worried now, too. Let's fiddle around with our Weapon Palettes for a bit.
Upon handing in the Client Order: ExpandSweet, everything's set! How 'bout you, mate? Yep, I knew I didn't have to worry about you. We need to change up our Photon Arts depending on what and where we're fighting, too, so this was a good review. I became an ARKS op sorta in a rush, so I'm missing a lot of basic stuff like that. But studying with you means I'll learn how to kick that basic crap to the curb! Haha! Cheers, mate!

Upon accepting the Client Order: Expand From what I've heard, a shocking number of mates out there forget to set their Techniques, too. You can set 'em on your sub-palette, too, but... It's reeeally important to set the main ones to your Weapon Palette, right? If you forget to do that, you won't be able to use 'em when you want to. Pretty easy peasy to let it slip your mind, though. You good, mate? You're not just learning them and forgetting to set them, yeah? I'm probably just being nosy, but why don't we both try setting Techniques to our Weapon Palettes?
Upon handing in the Client Order: ExpandOh, I think you did it, mate! That was a cake walk for you, huh? There're so many different kinds of Techniques that you really gotta think about what you set and where. I became an ARKS op sorta in a rush, so I'm missing a lot of basic stuff like that. ...Which is why studying with you is super helpful. Heh, anyway! Later, mate.

Skill Points: Expand Class Skills are Skills (abilities) for each Class that are useful in combat or for raising stats. You can spend your Skill Points to gain Skills at the Class Counter in the Gate Area. Skill Points are granted when you level up or when you complete specific Client Orders.
Class Skills are laid out like a tree, and by gaining Skills and raising Skill Levels to a certain amount, you can unlock new Skills. Check what Class Skills are available and plan how to use your Skill Points. If you feel unsure, you can also use the Recommended Setup feature. Note: Some Class Skills require a certain Class Level to obtain.

I tend to work alone and I always run before a fight breaks out. I'll probably never have a chance to experience it, but I gotta say--I'm kinda curious about it. Listen up, mate! If you manage to take a gander at a PSE Burst, record it for me, will ya? It's no big deal. Once you see it, the data should be automatically recorded!
Upon handing in the Client Order: ExpandHeya, mate! Did you manage to experience a PSE Burst? Crikey, that's fantastic! You got some sweet data on it too. Yep, I'm glad I asked you! Huh? What am I gonna use the data for? Nothing, really. I just wanted to know what it was like. When I find something I don't know anything about, I tend to freak a bit. It's important to just... know things, y'know? Anyway, ta! Let's go on another adventure together sometime!

Photon Sensitive Effect (PSE): Expand A Photon Sensitive Effect (PSE) is a helpful boost that occurs when you continuously defeat enemies. PSEs include boosts to offensive capabilities or increases the amount of EXP gained, which are extremely advantageous. They're also applied to every player within the area where they occur. However, please note that when you leave the area, you will no longer gain the PSE boost.
Activated PSEs will dissipate after a certain period of time, but if two PSEs of the same type are activated at once, the effect will become even stronger. Once the PSE reaches a certain level, it will transform into a PSE Burst, making enemies appear more frequently and increasing the items drop rate. By continuing to defeat enemies, you can gain experience and obtain rare items or strong equipment that would normally be hard to find.
Once the timer on the screen runs out, the PSE Burst will end. However, if more PSEs are activated during a PSE Burst, the remaining time can be extended. Try to cooperate with other players to keep defeating enemies and make the PSE Burst last as long as possible.

Not sure I could really do it on my own, but it'll be a cinch with you!
Upon starting the quest: ExpandYikes, it's so hot here. Why this planet of all places? You'd think even Falspawn would take a hard pass on a horrible place like this. Er, that's not really what matters, yeah? We gotta focus on our mission: taking out the Carthago. All right! Let's do our best, mate!

Seems like such a waste to build all this mining equipment and then just... leave it. Anyways, all that aside--we gotta focus on our mission.
Upon clearing the quest: ExpandAll right! We've done what we came here for, then? All the automata here are such a pain in my bum. Those things attack Falspawn, us, and basically anything they see. I can't really describe it. It could be some kinda clue about the person I'm looking for, so I wanna take a closer look. But I'm kinda nervous about going on my own, so... Would you mind coming with?
Upon starting the quest: ExpandFrom what I've heard, there's a Falspawn outbreak happening in these Ruins, too. Just like during our certification exam. Maybe it's not a coincidence? Could be that both events are related and something's happening all over the planet. Oh, sorry. I'm just throwing ideas out there without any evidence, I guess. We gotta focus on our expedition! All right! Let's do our best, mate!
Upon clearing the quest: ExpandPhew... We done? I never expected something that big to pop up. Maybe that's what was giving me a funny feeling? I have a hunch that that's not the end of it, though. Hmmm... Nope, I can't go down that rabbit hole! If we stick around here, another one might appear. Best if we skedaddle, mate.
Upon handing in the Client Order: ExpandNice one, mate! A lot happened, but I'm glad we made it back in one piece. We ended up not finding any clues, though. Oh well. I'll just keep looking... I'm sure my prospects will start looking up eventually. See ya, mate! I'll tell you if anything else comes up!
