Elder Form

Become the apex predator of the battlefield with the power of Dark Falz [Elder]! Demolish the opposition with your bare fists and shrug off their pathetic attempts at slowing you down! Reason and labels are meaningless, only your instincts matter to destroy the enemies in front of you!

Unlocking Elder Form

1. Clear one of the following two conditions.

Defeat any Omega Hyunal (Lv. 70+)
Clear "EPISODE 5" Chapter 2 "The End of The Ultimate Struggle"

2. When one of the above conditions are met, you will receive a message from Xiera notifying you that you have unlocked the Elder Form.

This message is received if you are in the center of the Gate Area, the Gateway Ship boarding gate, inside the Gateway Ship, etc.

During the transformation, a voice dedicated to the Dark Blast is assigned. The voice cannot be changed.
- It is possible to set the unique voice off by toggling between "Play / Don't Play" for the "Unique Voice for Dark Blasts" in the "Other Settings" of your Options menu.

The basic stats is fixed for each character Lv.

Automatic PP recovery amount is 15 PP/sec. Exactly 3 times greater than the player's original recovery (5 PP/sec).
All attacks except for Bloody Heal refers to Melee Power. Ranged Power is irrelevant.
The defense stats is extremely low, and is lower than normally having no equipment on the character. In particular, Elder has even lower stats for Ranged Defense.

About Unlocking Skills

Note: Skills that require a specific number of enemies defeated during Dark Blast will always keep track of progress throughout any number of quests where Dark Blast is activated. This means you are not forced to attain the total number of kills in a single Dark Blast activation. This also applies to skills that require multiple usage of other skills to unlock.

Extend Normal Attack Combo 1

	Adds a 4th move to your Normal Attack Combo. An uppercut that launches you upward.

Prerequisite:
Defeat a total of 30 enemies during Elder Dark Blast.

Extend Normal Attack Combo 2

	Adds a 5th move to your Normal Attack Combo. A vicious dunk downward that destroys whatever's on the point of impact.

Prerequisite:
Perform the 4th move of a Normal Attack Combo a total of 10 times.
Defeat a total 130 enemies during Elder Dark Blast.

The effect of this skill is actually just increase Normal Attack Combo by 1. If you reset your Dark Blast skills and learn only this your Normal Attack combo will be treated as if you had only learned Extend Normal Attack Combo 1.

Physical Dash

	Activated skill that makes you run as though you used a Dash Ring. You can turn and jump without interrupting the Dash. Attacking during the Dash will launch a strong lunging punch forward, prematurely ending the Dash.

Prerequisite:
Activate Elder Dark Blast transformation once.

The power distribution of Physical Dash is separated into 40% for the 1st hit and 20% each for the 2nd to 4th hits.

Charged Punishment Shot

	Reduces the charge time of the Dark Blast PA "Punishment Knuckle".

Prerequisite:
Defeat a total of 10 enemies by using a fully charged Dark Blast PA "Punishment Knuckle".

At max level, the charge time for Punishment Knuckle goes from 2 seconds to 1 second.

Ultimate Impact

	An activated skill that briefly channels dark power and then releases it in a devastating blast that obliterates anything in a large cone in front of you. This skill can only be activated once per Dark Blast transformation.

Prerequisite:
Use the activated skill "Darkness Barrier" once.
Use the activated skill "Physical Dash" a total of 10 times.
Defeat a total of 500 enemies during Elder Dark Blast.

After activating this skill, you have a small window of time to, if necessary, adjust the direction of the blast by turning to the sides.
Perfect Attack does not apply even if performed during a Perfect Attack window.

Darkness Barrier

	An activated skill that erects a temporary ethereal barrier that blocks enemy attacks and attracts enemies to itself. The barrier cannot be damaged and is only duration-based.

The barrier attracts enemies not by "pulling them in" like the Technique Zondeel but instead by drawing their aggro similar to the Hunter skill "War Cry".
The barrier can also protect against long-range attacks (except for penetrating attacks).

Bloody Heal

	An activated skill that restores your HP and the HP of all allies within range. This skill has no animation and can be activated at any moment, even in-between combos.

The HP recovery amount is based on your Technique Power of your Dark Blast.
Cannot be activated while attacking.
