Lead the charge to victory with the power of Dark Falz [Apprentice]! Amass your loyal Falspawn army to overwhelm those who dare question your rule! Your royalty, much like your beauty, will go on for all eternity!

Unlocking Apprentice Form

1. Clear one of the following conditions.

  • Defeat any Omega Appregina (Lv. 70+) or Omega Falz Apprentice (Lv.70+)
  • Clear "EPISODE 5" Chapter 4 "Lord of Epyk, Nestled in the Gods' Embrace"

2. When one of the above conditions are met, you will receive a message from Xiera notifying you that you have unlocked the Apprentice Form.

  • This message is received if you are in the center of the Gate Area, the Gateway Ship boarding gate, inside the Gateway Ship, etc.

  • During the transformation, a voice dedicated to the Dark Blast is assigned. The voice cannot be changed.
    • It is possible to set the unique voice off by toggling between "Play / Don't Play" for the "Unique Voice for Dark Blasts" in the "Other Settings" of your Options menu.

The basic stats is fixed for each character Lv.

  • Automatic PP recovery amount is 10 PP/sec. Exactly 2 times greater than the player's original recovery (5 PP/sec).
  • All attacks refers to Melee Power. Ranged and Technique Power are irrelevant.
  • The defense stats is low, and is lower than normally having no equipment on the character. In particular, Apprentice has even lower stats for Melee Defense.
  • This Form has excellent movement and attack speed. In addition, the Form is capable of summoning two types of Darksects to help assist in fights.
    • Like Summoner's Pets, the summoned Darksects can be easily identified from a white line extending out of the Form.
  • By learning skills, the Form can heal from all forms of attacks, but the actual healing per hit is low. Due to somewhat lower HP and defenses, it is recommended to avoid reckless fighting.

About Unlocking Skills

Note: Skills that require a specific number of enemies defeated during Dark Blast will always keep track of progress throughout any number of quests where Dark Blast is activated. This means you are not forced to attain the total number of kills in a single Dark Blast activation. This also applies to skills that require multiple usage of other skills to unlock.

Increased Normal Attack Combo

UISkillDarkBlastIncNormal.png Increases your maximum basic attack combo from 5 to 9. The final attack will be a massive slash similar to the Twin Dagger's PA "Facet Folia" on a much larger scale.

Prerequisite:
Defeat a total of 100 enemies during Apprentice Dark Blast.

  • Hits all around and grants invulnerability on the 9th attack.

Passionate Spin

UISkillDarkBlastPassionateSpin.png Adds the "Passionate Spin" attack as a followup to the Dark Blast PA "Graceful Dance". Hold the button while using "Graceful Dance" to spin into a typhoon of bladed death. You can move around to catch more enemies in your attack. Will constantly consume PP while the button is held.

Prerequisite:
Hit an enemy 10 times with the Dark Blast PA "Graceful Dance".

  • While awakened, the Darksect Servant Hornet spins alongside and increases the number of hits from Passionate Spin.
  • Cannot jump while in use, but can move horizontally.
  • Consumes about 20 PP per second.

Luxurious Dream

UISkillDarkBlastLuxuriousDream.png Activated skill that grants a buff to you and all nearby allies that increases damage dealt and critical chance.

Prerequisite:
Use the activated skill "Sensational Speed" a total of 5 times.

  • Attack power is increased by 8% and critical rate is increased by 25%.
    • Can be used together with Shifta.
    • Like Shifta, the boost only applies to base stats.
  • Has an effect duration of 30 seconds and a cooldown of 18 seconds.
    • Multiple Luxurious Dreams will only reset the duration to 30 seconds.
  • Has almost the range of a default Shifta.

Enhanced Luxurious Dream

Prerequisite:
Use the activated skill "Luxurious Dream" a total of 10 times.

  • While Royal Scorpion or Servant Hornet are summoned, activating Luxurious Dream will apply the effects to anyone nearby the Darksects.

Fell Queen's Advent

UISkillDarkBlastFellQueensAdvent.png An activated skill that calls upon your loyal Darksects to form up and rush forward in a charge that overwhelms any army of would-be dissenters to your eternal rule. You can turn and jump while rushing. This skill can only be activated once per Dark Blast transformation.

Prerequisite:
Hit enemies 400 times with your summoned Darksect, Royal Scorpion.
Hit enemies 100 times with your summoned Darksect, Servant Hornet.
Defeat a total of 300 enemies during Apprentice Dark Blast.

  • After activating this skill, you can move around and jump during the animation.
  • Lasts for about 8.5 seconds from activating the skill to the end of the animation.
  • Become completely invulnerable during the animation.
  • Previously summoned Darksects at the time of activation will disappear.

Sensational Speed

UISkillDarkBlastPhysicalDash.png Activated skill that makes you dash forward as though you used a Dash Ring. You can turn and jump without interrupting the Dash. Attacking during the Dash will launch a strong piercing attack, prematurely ending the Dash.
  • Lasts for 8 seconds.
  • Can summon Royal Scorpion and Servant Hornet without canceling the Dash.

Royal Scorpion

UISkillDarkBlastRoyalScorpion.png Activated skill that summons a Royal Scorpion Darksect to assist you in battle. Royal Scorpion attacks independently any nearby enemies by punch-rushing them. You may only have 1 Royal Scorpion Darksect deployed at a time. This skill grants a damage bonus to the summoned Royal Scorpion Darksect.
  • Lasts for 20 seconds. After activation, the remaining time is displayed on the icon.
  • Since there is no cooldown, you can reactivate this skill as many times as you like.
  • Note that the summon will disappear automatically if there is no locked on target.

Servant Hornet

Servant Hornets gather up in the targeted location and begin pulling all nearby enemies towards the center of the swarm, dealing damage over time. You may only have 1 Servant Hornet swarm deployed at a time. This skill grants a damage bonus to the summoned Servant Hornet Darksect.
  • Lasts for 20 seconds. After activation, the remaining time is displayed on the icon.
  • Since there is no cooldown, you can reactivate this skill as many times as you like.

Bewitching Symphony

UISkillDarkBlastBewitchingSymphony.png Grants a bar above your HUD similar to Weapon Focus. Dealing damage to enemies will fill this bar. Once the bar is full, it will automatically activate, increasing your damage dealt, PP recovery speed and adding extra effects to your Dark Blast PAs
  • The following PAs gain additional effects:
    Fortissimo Kick: A Royal Scorpion will perform a follow-up attack after your kick, crushing any enemy in front of you.
    Graceful Dance: Royal Scorpion will be launched, wreathed in the slashing wave attack, increasing its range and damage.
    Passionate Spin: Servant Hornets will be added to the spin attack, increasing its range and damage.
    • The follow-up attacks do not require the corresponding Darksects to be active at the moment of the attack.
  • While awakened, the Perfect Attack timing of Normal Attacks is dramatically accelerated.
