Overview
In New Genesis, the weather in the surrounding areas can change overtime. Certain enemies such as Alters can be enhanced by certain weather conditions.
Day/Night Cycle
An entire Day/Night cycle is estimated to last approximately 48 minutes.
Weather Cycle
The weather cycle is shared across all ships and blocks. It has been theorized that the weather is selected at random from a list, with each weather change having their own unique probability and a set duration that the weather will last for. Once the duration of the selected weather is over, the game will cycle through the list to pick a new type of weather. It possible for the same type of weather to be selected, which results in the current weather being extended.
