Unlocking Luther Form

1. Clear one of the following conditions.

• Defeat any Omega Angel (Lv. 70+)
• Clear the Urgent Quest "Wisdom Incarnate" on Super Hard difficulty or higher
• Clear "EPISODE 5" Chapter 3 "Deranged Researcher"

2. When one of the above conditions are met, you will receive a message from Xiera notifying you that you have unlocked the Luther Form.

• This message is received if you are in the center of the Gate Area, the Gateway Ship boarding gate, inside the Gateway Ship, etc.

• During the transformation, a voice dedicated to the Dark Blast is assigned. The voice cannot be changed.
  • It is possible to set the unique voice off by toggling between "Play / Don't Play" for the "Unique Voice for Dark Blasts" in the "Other Settings" of your Options menu.

The basic stats is fixed for each character Lv.

• Perfect Attack mechanics do not exist for this Form.
• Automatic PP recovery amount is 15 PP/sec. Exactly 3 times greater than the player's original recovery (5 PP/sec).
• All attacks refers to Technique Power. Melee and Ranged Power are irrelevant.
• The defense stats is extremely low, and is lower than normally having no equipment on the character. In particular, Luther has even lower stats for Ranged Defense.
• This Form can freely climb in altitude by holding down the jump button. In addition to slowly descending over time, the Form can also dive down quickly by using the Assault Dive skill.
• By learning skills, the Form can perform high-powered counterattacks and self-healing at the same time when successfully avoiding attacks during Sidesteps.
  • Note that this is the only form of recovery that this Form can do.

About Unlocking Skills

Note: Skills that require a specific number of enemies defeated during Dark Blast will always keep track of progress throughout any number of quests where Dark Blast is activated. This means you are not forced to attain the total number of kills in a single Dark Blast activation. This also applies to skills that require multiple usage of other skills to unlock.

• During fights against Dark Falz Appregina in Queen's Nightmare: Earth Depths and Queen's Nightmare: Sand City, depending on the difficulty, skills that are low leveled or not have been unlocked will be temporarily unlocked and some skills will be set to a preset level (level 6 for SH and level 9 for XH).

Wisdom Force

An activated skill that produces an instant shockwave around you that damages nearby enemies and serves as an all-round guard. This skill has no animation and can be activated at any moment.

Prerequisite:
Defeat a total of 30 enemies during Luther Dark Blast.

• Hits all around and grants invulnerability the moment the skill is activated.
  • Has 22 frames (about 0.367s) of invulnerability.
• Can be used during Ortho Sa Barta's multi-lock on charge and Convergent Ray's charge.

Assault Dive

Activated skill that performs a nosedive, releasing a powerful shockwave when hitting a surface. Can be used at any height but will consume PP according to distance traveled.

Prerequisite:
Use the activated skill "Swiftness" a total of 5 times.

Sidestep Counter

Using Sidestep during Dark Blast Luther will fire off a volley of shots forward. Successfully evading an enemy attack will add an extra enhanced shot.

Hit enemies 1000 times with Luther Dark Blast Normal Attacks.

Increases the number of lock-on targets of the Dark Blast PA "Ortho Sa Barta".

Use the Dark Blast PA "Ortho Sa Barta" a total of 50 times.

• At max level, the number of shots will increase to 8.

Diffusion Ray

An activated skill that unleashes a massive continuous torrent of dark energy that vaporizes everything in front of you. You can turn the beam to spread destruction further. This skill can only be activated once per Dark Blast transformation.

Prerequisite:
Hit enemies with the enhanced "Sidestep Counter " attack a total of 10 times.
Use the activated skill "Wisdom Force" a total of 20 times.
Hit enemies with a fully charged Dark Blast PA "Convergent Ray" a total of 30 times.

• After activating this skill, if necessary, adjust the direction of the laser by turning to the sides.
• Lasts for about 5 seconds from activating the skill to the end of the animation.

Swiftness

Activated skill that makes you fly forward as thought you used the AIS skill "Overboost". You can turn, ascend and cast some skills while flying. Using Sidestep will prematurely end the flight.
