This is a weapon based on Io. It was created when she ended up winning the Female Character category in the character popularity poll ARKS General Election held at the ARKS Co-op Festival 2014.
The name Edel Io comes from Edel Zellen, the outfit Io normally wears, and Io's own name.
The actual weapons for this, as well as * Krotov M238, were handed out as the final rewards in the Web Link Mission[1] event during PSO2's 2nd Anniversary, Phantasy Star Thanksgiving 2014.
