New Genesis: Ranger
Ranger is a returning class in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis.
A class geared towards medium range combat, they use ranged weapons to engage enemies while maintaining the optimal distance. They can also support other players with a range of special rounds.
Class Weapon Overview
Rangers has access to two unique weapons: Rifles and Launchers
Rifles
A heavy-duty rifle loaded with bullets. Possesses a high rate of attack as well as extreme precision. Rifles has a unique property of dealing increased damage for attacking at medium range.
The Sliding Shot Weapon Action performs an evasive slide forward, backwards, or to the sides while shooting at the same time. This allows the Ranger to keep their distance from an enemy to avoid damage as well as shoot at the same time.
Launchers
A slow, but deadly rocket launcher. Has slow attack speed, but compensates in high raw damage. Unlike rifles, they do not need to be in any range to benefit from increased damage.
Using the Sticky Bomb Weapon Action, you can throw an attachable mini bomb to an enemy, detonates and recovers PP after attacking the struck enemy.
