Additional Info
This is the current Avatar Arm of Hitsugi Yasaka, materialized as the replacement to her previous Avatar Arm, Ame-no-Habakiri.
It was manifested through Hitsugi's will to protect everyone she cares for, and through her love for Japanese Mythology. Its avatar form is a scarlet layered Japan-style armor.
The katana is based on the sword Susano-o found within the tail of the serpent Yamata no Orochi after having slayed it.
It has since changed names from Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi (Heavenly Sword of Gathering Clouds) to the more popular Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi (Grass-Cutting Sword) and became one of the three Imperial Regalia of Japan, representing the virtue of valor.
A weapon that originates from Phantasy Star Portable 2 shares name reference with this one, the Ameno Murakumo, though the weapon type there is a Twin Saber. Beyond that, they have no relation to eachother.
