EPISODE 6

EPISODE 6 is the sixth of Phantasy Star Online 2's six Episodes and the final installment of the Photoner Arc and the story. Clearing EPISODE 5 will unlock this Episode.

Prologue: Resisting the End

Shiva, the Goddess of Annihilation and the vessel for the Profound Darkness, has been unwittingly revived through the actions of the player and their successful sealing of Omega. With the fate of the universe on the line once again, ARKS calls upon its most powerful members to muster a plan of attack. However, against such an immensely powerful foe, strength and wit will not be enough this time.

Chapter 1: To End in Despair

Launching a surprise offensive against Mothership Xiao, Shiva and her allies begin their campaign of destruction starting with Oracle, intending to take the Mothership for themselves. Despite ARKS' best efforts, their enemy's high resilience to Photons makes this battle nigh-insurmountable. With demise looming ever so close to the heroes no matter what manner of counterattack they may bring, a true miracle may be the only way out.

Chapter 2: A Ray of Hope

With Xiao out of commission, Sarah and the heroes make their way to Amduskia post-haste in pursuit of Xiao's parting words. Their reunion with the planet's local goddess reveals a way to bring Xiao back to life, but the party must travel through the most corrupted parts of Amduskia's Volcano region to reach the planet's core. Unfortunately, the Goddess of Annihilation won't merely sit idly by and wait, and now the heroes must race against the clock to bring Xiao back before it's too late.
