Harvesting is the part of the game that nobody wants to do but everyone has to do to get the things that they need. There are two types of harvesting: mining and fishing. You have a stamina bar for both types with 100 points of stamina, and each harvest costs 10 points. You can replenish this stamina with difficult to come by stamina drinks, but it will also regenerate naturally with time. It takes 5 hours to fully replenish stamina from 0.

Harvesting spots are spread out randomly in the world, and under normal circumstances each spot can only be used 3 times before it disappears, but a new spot usually spawns close by. Multiple harvests can lead to a "Fever" triggering, at which point the harvest rates are higher and harvest spots can be used an unlimited amount of times.

Each harvesting material has its own size and classification, so you can craft recipes at Franka's Cafe to help boost the rates for the particular item that you're searching for. For Example, if you were trying to get Naverius Rock you could use the Sashimi (Mineral rate) and Coast Mussel (Small rate) recipes to boost your chances when harvesting.
