Enemies: | DOLLS | ALTERS | FORMERS | Starless | Ruinus | Special Enemies | TAMES |
Enemy EXP |
DOLLS are the mysterious enemy that ARKS must face on Halpha. When you engage them or inflict a certain amount of damage, they turn red, their behavior changes, and their attacks become more powerful.
When attacking, yellow cores that appear are weak points, so be sure to aim for them to deal more damage.
In the Global version of Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis, the singular form of DOLLS is "DOLLS unit."

• North Aelio • Vanford Laboratory Ruins • Resol Forest |
Dolz Soul Kukuhroziat Katana (Lv. 31+) |
- | Weak to: | A DOLLS miniboss that resembles a ninja. Attacks with quick motions from its katana, and can throw a row of shurikens to attack from range. Bujins can utilize a variety of attacks, including lingering area-of-effects, as well as suddenly vanishing and attacking from above. In addition, Bujins lack a proper weakpoint, and two Physical Down activations are required to properly immobilize them. |
Daityl Axe |
• North Aelio • South Aelio • Resol Forest |
Daityl Soul Kukuhroziat Saber (Lv. 31+) |
• Back Core (weakpoint) • Chestplate • Chest Core (weakpoint) |
Weak to: | A gargantuan, titan-esque boss DOLLS unit that attacks with a colossal axe and beam attacks. Swings from its axe are relatively slow, but especially powerful, and it can attack distant targets with quick beam attacks from its eye. Daityls can also release a powerful beam attack from their chests. Attacking the legs of a Daityl can cause a Physical Down, temporarily incapacitating them. Additionally, a Daityl's chest armor can only be destroyed while its core is exposed. Although an enraged Daityl will expose its core to utilize its chest beam, it can also use stronger variations of said attack in this state. |
Daityl Sword |
• Central Aelio • Vanford Laboratory Ruins |
Daityl Soul Kukuhroziat Sword (Lv. 31+) |
• Back Core (weakpoint) • Chestplate • Chest Core (weakpoint) |
Weak to: | A gargantuan, titan-esque boss DOLLS unit that attacks with a colossal sword and beam attacks. Swings from its sword are relatively weak, but especially fast, and it can attack distant targets with quick beam attacks from its eye. |
Destragras |
• Mining Rig Defense: Aelio Aelio Devastators |
Ragras Soul Kukuhroziat Machine Guns (Lv. 31+) |
Main Body: • Core (weakpoint) • Guns (x2) Siege Engine: • Core (weakpoint) • Legs (x4) |
Weak to: | A boss DOLLS unit that normally appears in a small form wielding dual guns. Attacks with swift Gunner-esque motions, as well as being able to protrude energy blades from its guns for melee combat. During Mining Rig quests, Destragras can spawn riding a giant, buglike siege engine. The engine will march towards Mining Rigs, attacking them and other targets with bullet fire from its legs, lasers, and destructible missiles. It will occasionally attempt to charge a destructible orb in order to release a powerful attack on a Mining Rig, as well as separate from the main Destragras body in order to attack two Mining Rigs at the same time. Destragras' core weakpoint is only exposed when its immobilized. When it is operating on its own, Destragras can only be immobilized through Physical and Elemental Downs. While in its siege engine, Destragras can be immobilized through Elemental Downs, the destruction of its legs, and interrupting its charge attack. Destroying all four of the siege engine's legs renders it inoperable, resulting in the Destragras fighting on its own. |
Nex Aelio |
• Resol Forest • West Aelio |
Nex Soul Kukuhroziat Bow (Lv. 31+) |
• Heads (x3) • Wings (x2) • Tail • Core (weakpoint) |
Weak to: | A massive, draconic boss DOLLS unit that threatened Central City a decade prior to the beginning of the story. Capable of flight, it attacks with swings from its tail, raining fireballs, and breath attacks. When it becomes enraged, it grows two more heads, and becomes capable of releasing a powerful explosion that allows it to enter an overheated state. Nex Aelio's legs are susceptible to Physical Downs, and its vulnerable core is usually hidden unless it is afflicted with a Down. However, while a Nex Aelio is overheated, its core will remain exposed indefinitely. Nex Aelio can be forced to leave its overheated state with enough attacks to its core—immobilizing it for a period. |
Nogleth |
• Central Aelio • South Aelio • Mt. Magnus • Resol Forest |
Dolz Soul Kukuhroziat Knuckles (Lv. 31+) |
• Core (weakpoint) | Weak to: | Large DOLLS minibosses found in Aelio. Attacks with slams and punches, occasionally getting its forelimbs stuck in the ground. Upon becoming enraged, its body drastically swells, and it attacks with more vigor—utilizing new attacks. Until it becomes enraged, a Nogleth lacks a proper weakpoint. However, after becoming enraged, a vulnerable core appears on the Nogleth's head. |
Oruq |
• West Aelio • Mt. Magnus • Vanford Laboratory Ruins |
Dolz Soul Kukuhroziat Talis (Lv. 31+) |
• Head Armor • Wings (x2) • Core (weakpoint) |
Weak to: | A DOLLS miniboss that resembles both a jet and a manta ray. Attacks from the skies using lasers, scatter shots, and homing bullets. Upon becoming enraged, Oruqs gain the ability to extend their wings into whips, as well as a massive tracking beam. Breaking an Oruq's head temporarily immobilizes it, as well as reveals a core weakpoint. Breaking both of an Oruq's wings also immobilizes it, as well as prevents it from flying high into the sky for a divebomb. An Oruq's tail is especially vulnerable to Physical Downs. |

Weak to: | Variations of Daityls found within the Retem Region. Utilizes a hammer that also functions as a guitar. Possesses similar melee attacks to a Daityl Axe, as well as being able to strum its guitar to produce various shockwaves and area-of-effect attacks. The legs of a Dustyl are susceptible to Physical Downs. Additionally, Dustyls lack the beam attacks utilized by Aelio's Daityls, and their chests can be broken at any time. |
Fortos Laser |
• Maqead Lower Level • West Retem |
Dolz Soul Relik Dark Rebellion (Lv. 30+) Kukuhroziat Launcher (Lv. 31+) |
• Legs (x4) • Back Tentacles (x4) • Shoulder Guns (x2) • Core (weakpoint) |

• Retem Alnothe • Central Retem |
Dolz Soul Relik Tartarus (Lv. 30+) Kukuhroziat Launcher (Lv. 31+) |
• Legs (x4) • Back Tentacles (x4) • Shoulder Guns (x2) • Core (weakpoint) |

• Geometric Labyrinth | Dolz Soul | - | Weak to: | Retem variants of Bujin. Has a whip-like appendage as a left arm, which it uses alongside its katana. Alongside the usual katana slashes used by Aelio's Bujins, Ikusa Bujins utilize enhanced shurikens that stick into targets and release an delayed explosion, Wired Lance-esque swings with its left arm, and altered move patterns. Similarly to all other grabs, it can not be avoided with guards or parries. In addition, you can not escape once you are grabbed by an Ikusa Bujin, and it will release an extremely powerful attack on the grabbed target. |
Kelkundo |
• Maqead Lower Level • West Retem |
Dolz Soul Relik Lexell (Lv. 30+) Kukuhroziat Boots (Lv. 31+) |
- | Weak to: | Fleet-footed DOLLS minibosses that attack with Jet Boots-esque motions. Can fire projectiles with its kicks, and becomes especially aggressive while enraged. Kelkundos will consume the bits on their back arcs in order to perform attacks and combos. When they are down to their final bit, they will perform a final rush of kicks before briefly entering an inactive period. While enraged, a Kelkundo can perform longer combos with a single bit, and their final rush becomes an enhanced variant. |
Lizentos |
• Maqead Lower Level • North Retem |
Dolz Soul Relik Endoif (Lv. 30+) Kukuhroziat Daggers (Lv. 31+) |
• Legs (x2) • Crest • Core (weakpoint) |
Weak to: | Medium-sized DOLLS minibosses resembling theropods. Attacks with speedy rush attacks, tail swings, hipchecks, and even shurikens. A Lizentos' crest, normally found on their backs, can be destroyed to reveal their cores. However, the crest and core will slide forward to the head after the Lizentos becomes enraged. Lizentos are vulnerable to Physical Downs by attacking their heads, and destroying both of a Lizentos's legs will cause it to topple after certain attacks. |
Nex |
• Drill: Dazzling Chaos Suppression Op | Nex Soul | • Heads (x3) • Wings (x2) • Tail • Core (weakpoint) |
Weak to: - | Variants of Nex Aelio. Individuals with the Resplendent title utilize shimmering beams, energy balls, and crystaline structures in a hectic manner. Most notably, a Respendent Nex inflict Burn, Freeze, Shock, Blind, Panic, or Poison with its unique attacks. |
Renus Retem |
• Maqead Lower Level | Renus Soul Relik Battle Verge (Lv. 30+) Kukuhroziat Spear (Lv. 31+) |
• Tail Core • Missile Turret • Massive Laser Turret • Multi-Laser Turret • Chin Core (weakpoint) |
Weak to: | A serpentine boss DOLLS unit that was responsible for terrorizing Retem City. Colossal in length, Renus Retem typically remains relatively-stationary, attacking with its head and tail. After becoming enraged, it will use its tail core to generate a barrier that protects the rest of its body. Destroying the core allows for Renus Retem to be damaged normally again, as well as causes it to enter a phase where it accompanies its head and tail with attacks from its torso weaponry. Periodically, Renus Retem will also dive into the ground, before performing a volley of attacks one after another. Renus Retem uses three different turrets on its torso, and destroying one will cause it to switch to the next one until it runs out of weapons. Renus Retem's head is susceptible to Physical Downs, and destroying any part of its body temporarily incapacitates it. Incapacitating Renus Retem in any way exposes the core under its chin. |
Sand Nogleth |
• Retem Region Combat Sectors • Central Retem |
Dolz Soul Relik Helpores (Lv. 30+) Kukuhroziat Knuckles (Lv. 31+) |
• Arm Boosters (x2) • Core (weakpoint) |
Weak to: | Variations of Nogleths found within the Retem Region. In addition to utilizing powerful melee blows and shockwaves in the sand, Sand Nogleths can gather currents around their arms to strengten their next attack. While enraged, destructible rocket boosters sprout from Sand Nogleth's arms—enabling new attacks. Much like with Aelio's Nogleths, the only weakpoint of a Sand Nogleth is its head core, which is only revealed after it becomes enraged. |
Varas |
• West Aelio • North Aelio • Aelio Region Combat Sectors |
Dolz Soul Kukuhroziat Wire (Lv. 31+) |
• Core (weakpoint) | Weak to: | DOLLS minibosses that use six floating arms to attack from a distance. Their arms are usually positioned in a formation that protects their core, but expending arms causes a Varas to become more vulnerable. |

Dark Falz |
• Dark Falz Interception | Eradi Soul | Phase 1-2: • Arms (x6, weakpoint) • Core (weakpoint) Phase 3: • Arms (x4, weakpoint) Phase 4: • Head (weakpoint) • Core (weakpoint) |
Weak to: | An enigmatic being that is a threat to all of Halpha. First confronted in a four-phased battle. Dark Falz engages ARKS within a mysterious area, utilizing a multi-armed combat form. It will attack using its arms, laser beams, and energy projectiles in an unique and intricate manner. Starting with its second phase, it will begin to use aerial attacks. At the beginning of its third phase, Dark Falz will attempt to perform an extremely powerful attack before changing stances and continuing the fight in a completely different manner. Throughout the fight, Dark Falz' weakpoints are typically its arms and normally-hidden chest core. Destroying Dark Falz' arms limits its attacks' ranges and causes Restasignes and Reversasignes to appear, although Dark Falz is able to regenerate lost arms during the first and second phases of the fight. During the third phase, it is only possible to damage Dark Falz by attacking the four arms supporting its body, and Dark Falz' head functions as its primarly weakpoint during the final phase. Although Dark Falz is vulnerable to Elemental Downs throughout the fight, it is only vulnerable to Physical Downs during the fourth phase of the fight. |
Dustyl Vera |
• Dustyl Vera Suppression Op | Dust Soul Kukuhroziat Wand (Lv. 31+) |
• Back Core (weakpoint) • Chestplate • Chest Core (weakpoint) |
Weak to: | A Command DOLLS variant of Dustyl Hammer. Uses many of the same attacks used by Dustyl Hammer during phase 1. At the start of phase 2, Dustyl Vera will use its weapon to generate a barrier around the rest of its body, and begin to attack with new moves. If the core on Dustyl Vera's weapon isn't quickly destroyed, the boss will warp to one of the platforms in the arena and unleash a massive area-of-effect attack using an electric disco ball. |

• Nex Vera Suppression Op | Nex Soul Kukuhroziat Bow (Lv. 31+) |
• Head (x3) • Wings (x2) • Tail • Core (weakpoint) |
Weak to: | A Command DOLLS variant of Nex Aelio. Uses many of the same tactics as its common variant, but with the inclusion of new attacks—such as one where it attempts to charge up a destructible fireball for a strong attack. Unlike Nex Aelio, Nex Vera can not be forced to exit its overheated state. Additionally, Nex Vera overheating does not indefinitely expose its core. |
Pettas Vera |
• Command DOLLS Suppression Op | Pettas Soul | Phase 1: • Chest Armor • Core (weakpoint) Phase 2: • Chest Crystals • Knee Crystals (x2) • Back Crystals • Core (weakpoint) |
Weak to: | A Command DOLLS variant of Pettas. A colossal Pettas that utilizes attacks from all of the Pettas variants in Aelio. During phase 1, its chest can be broken to reveal its core weakpoint. At the start of phase 2, Pettas Vera will grow crystaline armor across its entire body, and will begin to use crystaline bits to attack targets. It's core will be randomly hidden under its chest or one of its knees, although it will shine from underneath the crystal armor during certain attacks. Destroying Pettas Vera's back crystals prevents it from taking to the sky to perform its strongest attack. |
Crocodylis Vera |
- | Crocodylis Soul | - | Weak to: |
|
